You will lead a team of engineers while making key decisions that impact a broad range of cross-functional partners. Your role will remain technically hands-on, involving close work with code, technical details, and data. You’ll contribute to architectural planning, code reviews, and risk assessments.

You’ll be expected to discuss bugs and technical challenges in-depth and represent your team and technology in cross-functional meetings. You will collaborate with various teams across software, services, and AI/ML, while also engaging with external customers.

In this role, you’ll help define requirements and objectives for cross-functional software projects. You’ll have the opportunity to create a multi-year roadmap, lead the design and execution phases of software development, and oversee the work of some of the brightest engineers in the industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of operating systems fundamentals and mobile device support constraints.
  • Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional projects, managing partnerships while staying hands-on technically.
  • Clear decision-making based on data rather than intuition.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, global team, fostering collaboration, and supporting your engineers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of engineering management experience.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent.
  • Experience with API development and working with API consumers.
