We’re currently seeking a talented Application Engineer, ideally based in Texas, to join our dynamic and innovative team. This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to make a significant impact, supporting technical sales efforts and collaborating closely with our third-party sales representatives across the Western US.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Technical Demonstrations: Partner with Regional Sales Managers to deliver compelling product demonstrations both online and in-person.
  • Support Events: Represent DEWETRON at regional trade shows, showcasing our cutting-edge solutions.
  • Hands-On Training: Install evaluation systems at customer sites and provide effective startup training sessions.
  • Showcase Expertise: Perform in-depth demonstrations of Power Analyzers, ensuring customers receive top-notch service.
  • Global Collaboration: Communicate with our European headquarters on product developments and new releases.
  • Team Synergy: Engage in weekly meetings with application engineers at our headquarters, sharing insights and updates.
  • Drive Presales Activities: Focus on generating interest and securing sales through targeted presales efforts.
  • Training Collaboration: Share responsibilities for onsite training with team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Lead Marketing Initiatives: Contribute to marketing activities, including webinars with our ISE/support team, and author technical white papers.
  • Oversee Demonstration Processes: Manage the entire demo and evaluation process, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
  • Travel Enthusiast: Be prepared to travel extensively, spending at least two weeks per month in various locations across the Western US.

What You'll Bring:

  • Industry Experience: A strong background in data acquisition or test/measurement products, with a focus on power analysis, electric motors, and multi-phase inverters.
  • Collaborative Success: Proven history of working effectively with third-party manufacturer’s representatives to drive business growth.
  • Customer Satisfaction Champion: A track record of elevating customer satisfaction and supporting new business initiatives.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop technical support strategies and leverage performance KPIs to achieve goals.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in MS Office; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.
  • Organizational Mastery: Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities, with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Educational Background: Preferred ME or EE degree, or other technical degree in engineering or physical sciences, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven Expertise: 3-5 years of experience with a solid track record of meeting or exceeding technical support goals.
